As the Kennel Club pulls funding the Canine Genetics Center now faces a funding gap of £345,000 for the 12 month period from 1 April 2024.
If this gap is not filled staff will be made redundant, valuable experience and expertise will be lost , ongoing projects will be affected and may be abandoned and 40,000+ DNA samples may be lost.
